Notifications

When you work with others on a project, PhotoReport sends you push notifications to let you know about changes made by other members.

  • Project changes — A collaborator added or modified annotations, photos or plans.
  • Export ready — Your report is ready to download.
  • Export failed — An error occurred during report generation.
  • Sync complete — The download of a shared project you just joined is finished.

To avoid receiving a notification for every individual change, PhotoReport batches notifications per project. Changes are collected for 60 seconds, then sent as a single notification summarizing the updates.

For example, if a collaborator adds 5 annotations in 2 minutes, you’ll receive one or two summary notifications rather than 5 separate ones.

If a project’s notifications become too frequent, you can mute them:

  1. Open the project.
  2. Go to the collaborators list.
  3. In the Notifications section, turn off the toggle.

Push notifications for this project are then disabled. You’ll still see changes when you open the project, but you won’t receive background notifications.

The bell icon on the home screen opens the notification center, which displays the history of all received notifications. Unread notifications are marked with a badge.
