Photos and videos

Each annotation can contain multiple photos and videos. This is the heart of site documentation: every observation is visually illustrated and located on the plan.

In Visit mode, the camera opens automatically when you create an annotation. You can also add more photos to an existing annotation by opening it and tapping the camera button.

To attach photos already taken, use Catch-up mode or open an annotation and select images from your photo library.

From an open annotation, switch to video mode in the camera to record a clip. The video is attached to the annotation just like a photo.

You can annotate a photo with the drawing tool to highlight a defect, trace an outline or add an arrow:

  1. Open a photo inside an annotation.
  2. Tap the drawing icon (pencil).
  3. Use the drawing tools: pen, highlighter, eraser. You can choose the color and line thickness.
  4. The drawing is saved automatically over the photo.

If you allow PhotoReport to access your location, GPS coordinates are recorded with each photo taken from the app. This information is included in exported reports.

To enable or disable geolocation, go to your iPhone Settings > Privacy > Location Services > PhotoReport.

Open an annotation to see all its photos and videos in a grid. Tap a photo to view it full screen, zoom in or share it. Swipe left on a photo in the grid to delete it.
