View a shared report

This page describes what your recipient (client, partner, colleague) sees when they open a shared report link. No installation is needed — the report opens in any web browser.

  1. The recipient clicks the link you sent them.
  2. A page appears with the project name and a password field.
  3. The recipient enters the password and clicks Access report.
  4. The report opens.
  • View the HTML report — Browse annotated plans, photos and comments directly in the browser.
  • Download the ZIP archive — Get a complete copy of the report (HTML, photos, plans, audio files) on their computer.

The recipient does not need to create a PhotoReport account or install the app.

  • Wrong password — A “Wrong password” message appears. After 5 attempts, access is blocked for 15 minutes.
  • Report expired — If the expiry date has passed, a message indicates the report is no longer available. The recipient should contact you for a new link.
  • Invalid link — If the link has been deleted or is malformed, an error page is shown.
