In the field with iPhone, at the office on the web

This is the most common scenario: a professional working alone (architect, site manager, surveyor) using PhotoReport to document site visits.

  1. Create a project on iPhone before leaving, or directly on site.
  2. Import a plan — From a PDF received by email, or by photographing a plan posted on site.
  3. Switch to Visit mode — Walk the site, tap the plan where you see something to document, take photos and dictate audio comments.
  4. No internet needed — everything works offline. Data syncs automatically when the connection returns.
  1. Open the web dashboard on a computer to review observations at your desk.
  2. Browse the plans in the web viewer, check photos, listen to audio comments.
  3. Export the report as PDF from the iOS app and send it by email, or share it online via a password-protected link.
  • Speed on site — The app is designed for fast capture: one tap on the plan, one photo, one audio comment. No forms to fill.
  • Comfort at the office — The web dashboard on a large screen is more comfortable for reviewing and sharing.
  • Traceability — Every observation is timestamped, geolocated (if enabled) and attached to a plan. The final report is professional and complete.
