Multiple contributors on a single job site

This scenario illustrates a team of multiple contributors working on the same job site, each with their own iPhone.

  1. The project manager creates a project in PhotoReport and converts it to a cloud project.
  2. They import the site plans (PDFs from the architect).
  3. They invite other contributors by sharing an invitation link: architect, engineering firm, inspector, subcontractors.
  4. Each invitee taps the link, joins the project and downloads the plans to their device.
  1. Each contributor walks the site with their iPhone and documents their observations independently.
  2. Annotations are synced in real time — everyone sees the others’ observations appear on the plans.
  3. User filters let you show only one contributor’s observations at a time, for a clearer view.
  1. The project manager opens the web dashboard and browses all the team’s observations.
  2. They use filters (by date, by creator) to review progress.
  3. They export a comprehensive report containing all contributors’ observations and share it with the client.
  • A single source of truth — All contributors document in the same project, on the same plans.
  • No manual consolidation — No more merging emails, photos and spreadsheets from each contributor.
  • Per-contributor traceability — Each annotation is signed by its author and timestamped.
