General observations

Not everything sits on a plan. A blocked site entrance, a badly placed skip, a remark that applies to the whole site: those are general observations.

Adding an observation

1. Open the project and go to General observations.
2. Tap Add an observation.
3. Take your photos, then type or dictate the comment.

An observation is documented exactly like a viewpoint placed on a plan. Only the position is missing.

Tip

This is the right reflex on a first visit, when you do not have the plans yet: photograph everything as general observations, then attach them to plans once those are imported.

How they are displayed

Observations appear as cards, each with its number, a comment preview and icons showing the number of photos and audio comments.

Tap a card to open its detail: comment, media gallery, audio player.

The same possibilities as elsewhere

On a general observation you can edit the comment, add and delete photos and videos, rotate them, draw on them, record an audio comment, choose a colour and delete the observation.

In reports

General observations form their own section of the report, after the plans. At export time, a filter lets you include or exclude them. See Create a report.
