Sharing reports

Report sharing lets you send a web link to your clients, partners or colleagues so they can view or download a site report, without needing to install the app.

How it works

  1. Create a report from the iOS app, the Android app or the web dashboard, and choose to share it online.

  2. Set a password (6 characters minimum) and an expiry period (7, 30 or 90 days).

  3. A share link is generated. Copy it with the password and send them by email, message or any other way.

  4. Your recipient opens the link in a browser, enters the password, and can view the HTML report online or download the ZIP archive.

  • The report is hosted on PhotoReport’s servers and accessible via a unique link.
  • The link is password-protected: no one can view the report without the password.
  • The link has an expiry date: after that date, the report is no longer accessible.
  • You can change the password at any time from the iOS app, the Android app or the web dashboard.
  • You can track the download count from the iOS app, the Android app or the web dashboard.
  • The HTML report reads from top to bottom like a document: each plan’s section starts with its title, and comments appear in the page, above their photos.
  • Audio comments play inline in the HTML page, no download required.
  • The recipient can print the HTML report from their browser.
  • A photo or video that could not be included is flagged as “Media unavailable” instead of silently disappearing.
  • The HTML report is mobile-responsive (on a phone, below 768 px wide, the plan list moves into a menu) and fully self-contained (images, audio and HTML assets are bundled with the share).
