| Custom colors | A color palette specific to a project (24 maximum), in addition to the 15 built-in colors. Created by a Pro / Teams subscriber and shared with all collaborators. |

| Guest mode | Using the app without an account. Only local mode is available. |
| Read-only mode | A plan mode where you browse annotations without being able to create new ones. |

| General observation | An observation not placed on a plan: photos, videos, audio and a comment, with a number but no position. General observations form the first band of the Observations list and can be pinned to a plan later, on any platform. |
| Observations | The screen that lists every viewpoint and every general observation of a project, for the whole project or for one plan. Search, grouping, filters and the checks to run before an export live there. |
| Plan | A reference document (PDF or image) imported into a project, on which annotations are placed. A PDF holding several pages yields one plan per page on import. |
| Company profile | Company logo, name and address, displayed on exported reports (Pro / Teams). |
| Project | A workspace grouping plans, annotations, photos and reports for a job site or inspection. |
| Cloud project | A project synced to the cloud, accessible on multiple devices and on the web dashboard. Available on every plan, within your storage quota. |
| Local project | A project stored only on the device, without cloud sync. |
| Shared report | An exported report made available online via a password-protected link (Pro / Teams). |
| Recently deleted | The list of deleted items, kept for 7 days so they can be restored, then removed for good. Deleted projects are in the app settings. Everything deleted inside a project is in that project’s settings. |
| Snag | An observation flagging a defect, non-conformity or work to be redone on a site. |
| Web dashboard | The full PhotoReport app in a browser, at dashboard.photoreport.app: create projects, plans, viewpoints and reports. Included in every plan, the free plan included. |
| Viewpoint | Synonym for annotation, the observation point on a plan. |
